Episode #278: Stop Drinking Somebody Else's Kool-Aid and Be Kinder to Yourself

#Hustle #BeastMode #GetAfterIt

These are all hashtags that I have been guilty of using from time to time.

However, as I am now in the seventh year of my own entrepreneurial journey, I’ve come to realise that it is easy for ambitious types tuned in to the online ecosystem of entrepreneurs, life coaches, hustlers and the like to aspire to be ‘great’, and that in order to be ‘great’, think that they need to embody idols who preach 16 hour work days, doing away with friends who don’t ‘serve you’ and the relentless pursuit of what are often one-dimensional goals.

I hope you enjoyed this episode. If you’d like to receive a weekly email from me, complete with reflections, books I’ve been reading, words of wisdom and access to blogs, ebooks and more that I’m publishing on a regular basis, just leave your details at www.futuresquared.xyz/subscribe and you’ll receive the very next one.
