Six New Sneakers Dropping This Week

Here’s everything you need to know about this weekend’s biggest sneaker releases.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN 'Bone'

According to Hypebeast, you can score a pair of the freshly made-up Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN for $220. Kanye West’s signature pair comes with an understated black sole unit with matching accents on the upper. ‘Bone’ is adorned with a rather familiar reflective silver ‘700’ stamped on the side. A dollop of tan on the toe provides the most subtle contrast, adding flair to an otherwise flat monochrome palette.

Air Jordan 1 in 'Smoke Grey'

Despite the $170 price tag, Sneaker News tags the Air Jordan 1 in ‘Smoke Grey’ as the most popular pair of the bunch dropping this weekend. The classic yin-and-yang base is interrupted with a red leather ankle color, a distinctive nod to the original ‘Bred’ color scheme, which was all the rage in 1985.

Air Jordan 11 Low 'Concord Sketch'

Tinker Hatfield’s original sketch of the Air Jordan 11 mock-up comes alive with the Air Jordan 11 Low’s latest color scheme. The upper is white leather, with a concord blue patent overlay, which provides a cool contrast. The icy blue outsole is ever so delicate and precise, making the black accents pop out in this woman’s exclusive.

New Balance 'First Light' Collection

Out today, Kawhi Leonard’s OMN1S comes in its latest color palette, which runs wild with the concept of ‘California in the summer’ projected on a pair of sneakers. The black detailing completes the look, but the scene-stealer is the mismatched, two-toned combination of pink and yellow.

Nike ACG Air Zoom AO

For $130 a pair, Nike is offering an ideal companion for the ultimate summer hiker. It’s carefully designed for increased adaptability, grip, and drainage. For one, the toggle laces are concealed, reducing possible snags on the trail. The sticky rubber helps in building traction, and the hard rubber toe is complemented with responsive cushioning in the heels, making the sneakers amphibious.

Air Jordan V 'Purple Grape'

Finally, the cream of the crop. The Jordan Brand returns with another purple upper, interrupted by emerald hints on the iconic logo and midsole. For $190 a pair, the Air Jordan V in Purple Grape provides another spin to the pair famously worn by the Fresh Prince himself.
